Small group connection in Christian community is vital to kids as they navigate life with Jesus. Groups are divided according to gender and grade and are designed to give girls and boys a small group of friends in similar life stages to share life with. This mid-week connection, gives them an opportunity to evaluate the happenings of their week, what is to come and how to navigate it while operating in Christ mindedness.
There is no group size limit and larger groups will at times break up into smaller groups within their larger group. ALL are welcome whether they regularly attend Life Church or just want to join in this fun group of fellowship. There are numerous hands-on activities, worship, large group days, and Bible study for each age range. Please see registration form for age/grade breakdowns.
Every other Sunday: 12:30-3:00 pm
Students bring sack lunch
Expectation Sheet and contract required
Student Ministry Team is where we implement the Life Church Mission statement of “Live to Serve”. AT Life Church, we believe that everyone can serve the body of Christ no matter their age. Students are trained in various areas of service (facilitating a small group, welcoming guests, tech ministry, worship, and creative ministries (puppetry, etc.) With a more laid back schedule, kids are afforded the first hour to enjoy lunch together and spend time just hanging out with friends. Afterwords, there’s small group connection and ministry training. There is no age limit except they must be in 4th grade or higher. As kids get older, they grow into leadership positions within the group.

Moms are under so much pressure. We don’t just feel the pressure to be “good enough” for our kids. We also feel the pressure to be “good enough” for God – in and through our parenting. These impossible standards leave us stuck bouncing between worry, fear, anger and shame, and threaten to steal all the wonder and adventure, not just from our parenting, but from our lives. The author of Mom Set Free knows how it feels to fear that we are letting down our kids and disappointing God in our parenting. And she invites us to discover how the good news of the gospel empowers us to live – and parent – as a Mom Set Free

Equip Night will be a time of teaching throughout intercession. What that means is that as we press into the realms of the spirit; He (Holy Spirit) will Equipped us to walk out our individual assignments by His power. And collectively we will be fitly joined and aligned into Kingdom purpose. The realms of intercession will be interactive. As we go through the sections of prayer, we will give a small exhortation that will serve to usher us into an interactive experience with Holy spirit. During each session we look for Him to speak wisdom, clarity, correction, identity, encouragement, and a further endowing or investment of strength and power.
