nEXTGEN - WHAT IS IT?
“Parents, you can do this… we will help you”
Here at Life Church, we are so excited to have a “NextGen” approach to children and youth ministries. Each Campus has a NextGen pastor that oversees discipleship for children and teenagers from infancy through High School Graduation. This approach allows each NextGen Pastor to have a consistent and reliable relationship with each individual and help them navigate their faith during Life Stages. The NextGen Pastor oversees amazing Dream Teams with leaders who are dialed in to their faith and the needs of each age group and equips parents to be the pastors of their home.

LIFE CHURCH KIDS
Life Church Kids provides ministry for children from infancy through 5th grade. We believe in
providing ministry in each of our rooms. From nursery, toddlers, preschool, and elementary,
we have engaging Bible lessons, Prayer, worship, hands-on activities and multi-media elements
to minister to each age.
We also have some fun online stories that we created. Check them out here: LCKidsYouTube

A MESSAGE FROM OUR CAMPUS PASTOR
Isaiah 60:1 // “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.”
Life Church Pendleton has grown into being a beacon of light in the community of Pendleton and Madison County. When I was asked to consider stepping in as Campus Pastor, I called upon the Lord to direct my steps and make it clear of where He wanted me to go. When I walked and prayed around the campus, I was drawn to the tall lighthouse that sits at the front of the building. A lighthouse is typically built on a headland or cape, to direct traffic into the harbor. While looking at this lighthouse, I was reminded of the time I was baptized. It was then that I discovered the meaning of my name, Ross, is headland or cape.
This lighthouse is used as a representation as a beacon of the love of Jesus that shines for miles and beyond. The Holy Spirit is most certainly in the midst of this campus and our team that works faithfully to serve all of those who God loves. We are committed to being involved in our community through outreach events, our congregation through pastoral care, and diligently investing in all who come into our doors through discipleship. I am overjoyed each day that I get to do this job and serve our King alongside other great Pastors who provide so much wisdom. We unapologetically preach the Word of God through expository preaching which allows God to set the diet. The people of Life Church Pendleton boldly proclaim the Word of God and will not succumb to the opposition we face in this world.
1 Thessalonians 2:2 // “we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much opposition.”
